Summer Holiday

hehe, havnt finished the exams just yet but still thinking about the summer holiday as usual. i hionestly can not wait although i am having a very very short one, becasue i am going back to school (summer school) in july 4th kind of a low blow but what has to be done has to be done and i dont really mind. its all for a good cause if youi ask me.
in a way i cant wait but then again i am going to miss every one so much. gosh i thing am going tocry now. (hehe) but seriously i wish you all GOOD LUCK AND FAIR WELL in all you futre plans.

FINAL EXAM...

well its a saturday and the inal exam is in 2DAYS.... i need prayer and fasting. as in you all dont understand i really need it, i understand java script and html and all that but thats just the begining its like java is what matters the most of all and i dont have that down just yet but i still have time. i am not plannin on sleeping for 2days till this exam is over seriously.
Hopefully all the work i have done in the past will pay off and cover up for the final exam.

JAVA PROGRAMING

JAVA JAVAV JAVA... well i knew it would be hard but i had absolutly no idea that it would be this hard. i wouldnt say i have absolutly no idea about it but in a way i kind of dont really fully understand it. i can get thrught the first step of programming quite alright but apart from that i am totally stuck and dump-founded. had to do a proget of it and welli have to say i messed up that mark because i was so stuck that i hardly did any thing and for that i am scrared of my final grade for computer but by the grace o God it will not be so bad, i hope, i pray.....

Web Project

Well, have to admit the web project was fun although made a lot of fuss getting it done. i was so proud of my self when it was completed and i am deffinatly thinking about doing another once that could be like my very own personal profile page. The one i made was for family and friends so i dont need to make it again,
but the most anoying thing about it was the face that you had to validate it. i swear i hate validating scripts. It actually terrifies me when it comes to validating scripts. hopefullt the errors wasnt too major and its not going to decrease my mark too much.

Java Script lessons

Well Well Well.... Java script is not at all easy am just so terrifed of Java it self.
well its not that its not easy but when it comes to tests and exams kts difficullt. And the project that we have to do and hand in is well is very difficult and not going according to plan.
But ani ways am still happy.
God and miss chow will help me through,

HTML..... CSS

I am absolutly loving these css and html lessons. for real they are becoming quite fun. i know unbelieveable right, bu i have found a usefulness to learning it. i actually made a page (web page) with my picture as the background. Also we are now moving onto java script now which i have to say sounds really hard but hopefully its as fun as the html lessons.

Why students should learn HTML!!!

Well HTML stands for Hyper..Text..Markeup..Language..
I personally feel that its important aswell as not nessecary for students to learn HTML.
first of all its improtant to learn HTML because it is the basic and most main source of the formation of a web page, although now there are ready templates to create your web pages, but it is mostly its important because by creating a web page you could later turn it into a portfolio. and aslo when a web page is been created the creator leaves notes and detalils that dont always show up on the final created web page, so by learning HTML you can go to the source of the web page and view the intemate details of how the web page was made.

However people aso see learning HTML as a waste of time because today there are ready made templates to making your own web page.

Ethics in computer

Case Study 2: -

It is legal to copy songs from a CD, provided it was purchased legally. A principal at a local high school, however, has learned that students have been copying popular tracks from purchased music CDs to other CDs using the schools computer and selling the CDs for $1.00 each. As the dean of students, what action would you take against the students copying the CDs? What action would you take against the students buying the illegal copies? Write a brief report.

Well it is true that you can copy songs off a CD if and only if the CD was purchased legally.
First of all the students that have been copying the songs from the CD to other CD using the school computer and selling them the principal should stop them from accessing the school computers and the school could also block the web site for music downloads as well as giving each student a password and user name which will enable them to log onto the school computers. So by them having these two, the school can track what web sites they actually visit and if they cross the bounds of the school rules there privilege of using the school computers would be taken away from them. And of course the student’s parents should be told.
And to the people that are buying the illegal copped CDs, because you cannot actually be sure if they were aware if the CD’s they were buying was illegally burned, so there’s not much you can do to them. He could stop all students from selling and buying things on the school property. And also all the all the CD’s should be confiscated and the student’s parents should also be informed.

well, well, the classes havnt been bad, well it's easier than i suspected. and i actaually know how to put together and take apart a computer and i know what its parts are use for. it actually makes me intrested in building my own, becasue i actually love to solder. hehe.

Advantages of Computers:-

• Convinience:-

when we say it convenient it refers to the fact that it's portable and you can work any time any where you are . you can also surf the net which is one of the best things of having a computer.

• Quick:-

Its quick in the sence that instead of having to write and re-write an essay you could just delete and edit your work, also instead of having to draw graphs you clould use excel. The computer is also fast in the sence that it procces information quikly.

• Stores More:-

Because the computer has a very large memory storage so it stores just about any thing and also for a long period of time without loosing any information.

• Consistent in Processing Information:-

This refers to the fact that every time you ask / comand the computer to perform a function the answer will always be the same and it will always be right.

• Communication:-

The computer alows you to talk to various poeple on the internet through instant messagin, or chat rooms.
its also allows you to send e-mails which is also another form of communiction.

Disadvantages of Computers:-

• Invasion of Privacy:-

When using a computer at first it seems private but there is usually a password that keeps all your personal information locked away which would enable others to use your laptop but as soon as in individual gets a hold of then your privacy has been invaded. which will then enable that individual to see all your personal information, and the thing is there is no way of you knowing that your privacy has been invaded, because there is noe divice on the computer that will tell you that.

• Potential of Losing a Lot of Information:-

Because the computer has the capacity to store a lot of information, its also easy to loose a lot of information. for example if your working and the battery dies if you havnt saved it all the work that you have done will be lost.
also if your hard wear crashes and breaks down all the work, pictures, music stored in your computer will be wiped off completly.

• Lowers Productivity:-

A computer vertualy does all for you, helps you correct your work, helps you calculate and so on you dont really need to know and wount bother to learn how to spell correctly, and you really have no use for your brain. and you tend to find yourself sitting a lot using the computer.

• Health Risks:-

Using the computer a lot would damage your eyes because you will be staring into the screen a lot. It will also damage your back, because of the position in which you wil be sitting in.
Using a mouse would also damage your had because your hand will be in an akward position.

• Impact on the Environment:-

Because computers (technology) have taken over all things the humans should be doing, a lot of people would actually become unemployed. there really is no need for them, unless thet actually program computers and softwares.

• Maintenance (costs, etc):-

It is very expensive to maintain a computer, because if it breakes down you wount only need to pay for the repairs but its possible that you would need to replace some software as will as a hard drive.

well as you can guess this is my first entry. And my 2nd day in canada and schooling in canada.
was sooo excited to come but know dat am here am freezzing. seriously its too cold for me.
school's going fine for now but because i dont really like maths am finding that subject a bit difficult, so any one thats offering to help me that would be very nice and i really appriciate it.
